Cybersecurity Conclave for Hospitals in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, being one of the centers with good infrastructure for medical industry, has a good number of hospitals providing quality treatments. These hospitals attract patients from different states of India and even the world. These patients share a lot of sensitive personal and health data with the hospitals to receive personalized and effective treatment. 

PeoplActive, a well-known cybersecurity expert, organized a special event called the Cyber Active Conclave 2024. The first chapter at Ahmedabad was hosted to increase awareness about the cyber-attack threats that loom over healthcare industry and break the myths about cybersecurity eco-system. The CAC 2024 event took place at the Communication Crafts’s headquarters in Ahmedabad, India.  

The main goal of the event was to educate healthcare providers, especially the hospitals, about the importance of cybersecurity. We wanted to raise awareness about how healthcare organizations can protect themselves from cyber threats and attacks. They wanted to help healthcare providers become more resilient against cyberattacks.

Prominent Speakers and Cyber Active Conclave 2024

The Cyber Active Conclave 2024 featured a lineup of renowned speakers from around the world. These included Mr. Regie Gardoce, Managing Director of Gardoce Consulting, and Mr. Dheeraj Khatore, CEO and Vice President of AACI, as well as CEO of Emerge Smart Health. Other notable speakers included Mr. Manasvi Thapar, Founder of Candour Legal and a TEDx speaker, and Dr. Nilay Mistry, Associate Professor at the School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics at NFSU in Gandhinagar. The speakers represented countries such as India, Australia, and the UAE. 

The event also drew participants from 10 multi-speciality hospitals. These healthcare professionals attended to learn about critical topics such as data privacy, the DPDP Act 2023, and real-life case studies that highlighted cybersecurity vulnerabilities in healthcare organizations
